John Gerber, Founder and Partner
John has extensive experience in private placements as a founder, investor, and capital sourcer and has participated in the funding of over 30 companies. Prior to founding Private Capital, John was cofounder and chairman of Dealerskins and cofounder of Commercial Capital, a $50 million hedge fund. John is a graduate of Univeristy of Tennessee, Chattanooga.

Kirk Manz, Managing Partner
As an entreprenuer, Kirk has co-founded and served as CEO of four communications/technology companies including Igaea, an international voice over IP company. While at Igaea, Kirk negotiated over $65 million in debt and equity financing. In 2002 Kirk joined the investment banking firm of Stephens, Inc. and later left to help open the Nashville office of Piper Jaffray as Vice President Investments. At Piper, Kirk was involved in over $150 million in debt transactions and was a noted specialist in the high yield, healthcare sector. Kirk is a graduate of Vanderbilt University.
